Non sono molti i programmi per i quali vale la pena passare del tempo davanti alla televisione; per quanto mi riguarda, a parte qualche film, programma di attualità, sport e documentari, il resto si conta sulle dita di una mano… Però, tra questi, ci sono due programmi che non si possono non vedere e, secondo il mio gusto personale, amare alla follia.
Il primo è la serie comica dei Monty Python, il “Monty Python’s Flying Circus”, che nei primi anni 70 ha cambiato il modo di fare televisione e influenzato pesantemente la cultura, non solo in Gran Bretagna, e anche in ambiti "insospettabili" (ad esempio, sapevate che il termine “spam” usato in informatica deriva da uno sketch dei Monty Python?).
Il secondo programma televisivo è la serie “cult” dei Simpson. Ci sarebbe così tanto da dire su questa serie, che la cosa migliore è rimandarvi alle ottime pagine presenti su wikipedia. Vi voglio solo segnalare (cosa che era lo scopo iniziale del mio post) un simpatico sito sul quale è possibile trasformare una foto in un personaggio dei Simpson… come potete vedere qui accanto, io mi sono già Simpsonizzato: Simpsonizzati anche tu!I think there are not many TV shows that are worth your time, at least on the Italian TV; as far as I am concerned, I like watching good movies, news, sport and documentary films. Apart from these programs, I think there are at last two TV shows that you can’t miss and that I love to death.
The other TV show that I love is “The Simpsons”, the animated sitcom created by Matt Groening. There are so many things to say about this series, so I think that the best think to do is to read the excellent pages on wikipedia. I just want to point out (and this was the first purpose of my post) a nice site, where you can morph a photo into a Simpsons-like character… as you can see here, I already Simpsonized myself: why don’t you Simpsonize, too?
